12 year old flattraker!

Hey guy im going to be flattraking next friday after my 12th B-day next Tuesday. My dad got a 35 tooth rear sprocket for me to use and some new boots(thier barowed,i hope i race better than i spell). This is only a one time thing so is thier any ways i can lower my qaud without spending a bunch of money? Do you guys got any tips for me?
P.S. Ill be racing in the beginners class.

take a rachet strap and strap down your backend..for the front end either wheel spacers or 400ex aarms..or if u dont wanna spend any money reverse your front rims

ya, take tiedowns and do your rear end, you can also do that to your front end as well
