I know I might get a few negative comments for this Q but:

What is the reason you guys buy new axles?

I need to show my dad reasons to buy myself a new one cause I hafta have a reason for buying every part:rolleyes:

axles make u go faster:rolleyes: ( shoulda put this is a suspention area, not a powertrain)

wider axles make the quad handle better, and there stronger then stock so u dont have to worry about bending it

Im tryin to decide between a Durablue 2+2 axle or Works Front Shocks, which would you choose?

works shocks definitly, the 400ex handles fine the way it is. Shocks will make u faster than an axle.... IMO

I can always save up again for the axle if I wanted it.... Thanks for the input.

I replaced mine because I bent the stocker. I don't jump big but I landed wrong a few times:ermm:

Once I get the $'s together front shocks are on top of the list:cool: I wish I could have done them first....

He put it in the right spot. Look under powertrain and see what it lists.

engine, intake, exhaust, carb, chain, sprockets, axles, big-bore kits, etc...

ohh i guess u were right.... chit who woulda thought axles go with big bore kits and not in the suspention area :confused2

Ya cause in all my mags. "Axles" come under the "Brakes/ Suspension" catagories.

Get the shocks first unless your axle is bent. Especcially on a 250ex because their stock suspension is stiff.

Ya I need the shocks more then a axle, cause whenever I land a jump anymore my suspension always bottoms out on me and makes for a very hard landing.

Dave, man you have done a lot of nice stuff to your quad. Now it's screamin for shocks! It's a no brainer bud!

Thanks bud...... its either screamin for shocks or its screamin to take it out for a ride once the friggin rain stops.

amen to that. my 400ex hasn't made it out of the house since the rausch ride (june 7th and 8th) and that sucks

And I havent been able to ride cause us in PA are in the process of a flood which makes for another boring day behind this screen and havin the quad trashing around the garage waiting to be let out.
