tricks of the trade?

I just recieved my R hood for my EX and i was just wondering if anyone had pics that could help me or tricks to puting this hood on right? Thanks alot Lance

Make sure it's centered before you mount it. You can always move it before mounting, but not after.

Whatever you do measure everything like 10 times. I almost made the mistake of cuttin too much plastic off. Find some nice things to mount your hood with.. not just zip ties:rolleyes: I am still trying to figure out a good way on how to mount the hood up near my gas tank.. it sticks up about 1/2 inch... anyone have the same problems. By the way its a Fibe hood.

Well when i got off work today i started puting my hood on. I wasn't planing on cutting my plastic in half but w/ the vented hood i had to. I used c-clamps to hold the hood in place and square it up right. Marked where i wanted to cut .............cut it and bagan mounting. It went better than what i though. The only problem i had was towards the top but its all mounted, i put i spongey matiral on the top nuts incase in wears in the tank. It was fun and worth it looks f*ckin b@d. Lance
