what's the deal, are they all the same, or are some brands better. Galfer, Duncan, Fastline, PEP, what kind is best.

also, with +2 a arms, i can still use my stock brake lines right? I am still planing on getting new brakelines but just incase things don't go as planed.

I think there all the same not for sure though but I think the companys just put their name in front of it. Fastlines are supposed to be the best and most popular. Yes you can still use your stock brake lines with +2 inch a-arms.

Is there a big gain that you can feel in braking with the braided lines?

I have LSR brake lines and they are great. They dont stop like I thought they would but they do lock up the front tires. I have seen other steel brake lines and like mine the best, since it eliminates the junction box. They have 2 lines coming from the master cylinder to each caliper. I would reccommend getting LSR over the others b/c they seem to work better and are slightly cheapr, maybe 10 bucks cheaper. Just my 2 cents

The lines are steel braided so they dont expand like stock rubber lines. They are still hydraulic.

Just for the front cost me 88 dollars I think, the lowest I have seen others is 96 all the way to 126. I havent priced the rear but I will get it if I extend my swingarm an inch. Call K&K ATV that is where I got mine. When I first got mine I looked at it and said, wait a minute, I am missing a line, then I realized that you just use the long banjo bolt to attach both lines at the master cylinder then run to each caliper. I will take a pic if anyone wants.

I have a set that looks just like X-riders on my banshee now and a set waiting to install on the 400ex once all the motor work is done. They are not LSR but look identical and are only like $59 for stock length or $79 for +2. I purchased them from Hy-tech atv http://www.hy-tech-atv.com/ You might check them out.
