How do you do a wheelie? I have been trying but i cant seem to get the front up. I have a LT230 quadracer. It has a clutch. Thanks.

:huh are you serious? just lean back a lot and give it enough gas to pop the front end up and keep giving it gas while leaning back....at least that's why i do on my LT185 and Banshee and i can do some good wheelies...except that the banshee wants to go too fast when wheelieing....so that kinda sucks:(

try leaning back a lot on the seat, putting a lot of your weight on the back of the seat so your shock goes down and give it a lot of gas....let me know how it goes...

it depends on how much power your quad has. usually first or second gear works pretty well. and third if your quad has some nice power. and what works really well is in my yard i have this little tiny dip in it so right when my rear tires go into it i hit the gas and it pops a really nice wheelie everytime without even trying that much.

Start out going pretty slowly and get the front end up high to the point where you can balence then give it throttle as you need while balencing. After some practice, try shifting in the air. Good luck

Start out doin them out of ditches or on slopes to get used to being on 2 wheels and finding the balance point, you can also stand on the grab bar to do this.

Once you get the hang of it to do them sitting down is easy. I pull in the clutch and rev it about 1/4 and let out the clutch slow then when it starts to creep pop it and nail the gas

put one of ur legs up on the back and like in the grab bar then get going in like first or second slowly and lean back and hammer the gas. then move on and do them sitting down thats what i did here is a pic of me doin a wheelie over the winter

go easy on him, its your quad mostly but u can still wheelie it, quadsports are dead, but its all about feeling your power and balance pt but ive ridden quadsports, and i know where your coming from

Just got back from Dirt Week in Logan, WV. What a bust!!!!! Rained EVERY DAY!! The promoter...Sports In The Rough.....not to be trusted....all the events....drags,hillclimbs,rodeo, poker runs....either sucked major ARSE, or were not even held. This was about the most fun I had all week long...rippin' long 5th gear wheelies down the road. :ermm: Sorry for ventin'

My friend has a Suzuki QS LT230 and it seems to wheelie pretty easy. I think it has quite a bit of power for its size. I've seen it smoke a piped 300EX before.

I wish I could get pics of my wheelies on here but my parents don't have balls enough to take the pic while I'm doing it. They could be saying that because they are lazy though. I'll get a friend to take the pic sometime. I wish I could jump as good as I can wheelie.

You'll get the hang of it eventually. It takes practice. The first day I got mine, I couldn't get 10 feet without letting it down or going on the grab bar. Now I can go with my left foot on the grab bar, right foot on the left foot peg, and do a bumper grab for about 150yards at which point I run out of room. It helps to have a quad with good balance.

LT230's aren't as wheelie happy as a Honda sport quad because of its weight distrubution but it may actually be an advatage to you, who knows? I just wish you the best of luck and hope you don't break nothing, on the quad or on you.

Good Luck!
