Photoshop is confusing

i have photoshop 7.0 and i have no clue what im doing. anyone wanna help?

Just keep playin with it and trying new things out. I'm 100% self taught and now using it is part of my job.

Photo has a pretty steep learning curve that is sure. Just find a nice pic that isnt too cluttered with background junk and start using the filters. It is best to start with the Lasso tool(looks like a lasso on the toolbar on the left side) you lasso something by tracing around the outside of it and then using the filters to mess with the pics.

i took 2 classes on photoshop and havent even tapped into what it all can do..

it just takes practice. mess with the layers and all the diff tools.. i'd go and buy a book and follow that..

that's the best thing you can do is to just mess around with it by yourself, figure everything out on your own. no book can teach you that very well. and then after you get things figured out buy a book so you can learn more and be able to fully understand it.

:huh everything on computers are the same, you just have to work with it and you will learn quicker than any book could teach you. how do you think i can type so damn fast and i'm good with computers? i've never paid any attention in any computer class in school, i've been around computers since i was 5.

Do a search for "Classroom In A Book" on Photoshop and read it. It does wonders!
