What is a good sparkplug to use, or is the stock NGK-DPR8Z plug the one should put in?

use the DPR8Z, mines 3 years old, no probs with the plug heat range. Works just fine.

My HONDA sponsor says that you can use either the DPR8Z or the DPR9Z. ;)

I fouled plugs all the time then I switched to DPR9Z (hotter) and no more fouling.

If I am not mistaken, the higher the number the cooler the plug is and the lower the number the hotter it is. Just a little help so the wrong information isn't given out.

yes 9 is COLDER than a 8.
I had fouled plugs all the time since it got cold and it was hard to start. I have read now that a 40 or 42 pilot is the way to go to help this. I personally put a DPR7EA-9 plug in mine, one step hotter than the stock DPR8Z and the tip is a little less shrouded and seems to work better because now I havent fouled a plug since.
