400 is cutting out...

It started out as just a little stumble in the top end. But the more I ride it, the worse it gets. Now it just starts cutting out and bogging from the midrange and up. ANyone have any ideas of what it could be?

Mine was doing the same thing sputter on top end then went to sputtering from 1/2 throttle on, the stator went bad. if you have the manual they will tell you how to test it in the back with a volt meter. If you need help with testing it let me know,I'll check back after work.
