what is the torque needed when you put a-arms and the shocks on? i do know they are on there pretty tight but i don't know the torque. thanks

upper/ lower a arms 29 ft lbs
shocks 33 ft lbs

i didnt even know you have to torque them down at a certain level... the only things i torqued was my motor stuff...
as long as everything else is tight, and stays tight, thats all that matters :eek2:

sweet!! thanks for the help. yeah i never really torque them down either, but just put them on there tight. i guess if i bought a manual i might be able to find these things.

while we are at it, does anyone know the torque for the four bolts that hold the header to the head on a 400ex? what about the wheels? thanks

Wheels are 47 ft lbs.
The header bolts are not listed in my manual as far as I could see.
