Stock 400ex A-arms on 250X

I know it has been asked before, but has anyone actually done it?? I asked the ding a ling at the local Honda parts place & he thought I was nuts! I wanted to slap on a set of stock 400ex A-arms because they are way cheaper than 250x arms. Do I need the 400 shocks? or will my old ones still work?

Yep they'll fit. You can use the stock shocks but it will sit low in the front. Or you can get an upper shock mount to fit the 400 shocks or order custom shocks from Works Elka etc... I have the Works and it made a huge difference.
