400ex motor

will a 400ex motor fit in a 300ex frame? yeah i know alot of yall will say why dont i just get a 400ex..well i know a dude with a 400 motor for pretty cheap and i was just wonderin if i could put it in my frame. i know i will have to make new mounts but is the frame even big enough?

It will fit but there will be alot of modification that you have to do in order to get it in there and working.

Well lets point out the obivious things making motor mounts, lining up the sprocket ,gussesting the frame and custom pipe so it can fit.
