On the left side of my quad. on the carb, there is a little screw right above my overflow tube and i un twisted it and fuel came pouring out so i tightened it and it stoped. and my fuel knob was on off too. i dont know

thanz because this is my first time rejetting. i didnt take out the whole carb, i just took out the bottom half. is that ok?

Pretty sure you just have to take the bottom off.

HEy i got another question. I got a dynojet kit and there arent any pilot jets in there. could i leave stock. cus big gun told me the run a 40. i think stock is 39. and where is my needle. near the jets inside the carb or could i leave that too

Your Needle is accesable from the top of the carb under the gold plate w/ 3 screws in it( on a 400). The mains can be accesed by removing the cap on the bottom of the carb. :cool:

yes, keep the stock needle, that doesn't need to be replaced, but you can move it up and down if you want. after you pull the top cover out, just pull the needle out of the slide, there is a clip on it, hard to explain the shape but you will know what it is, if you want to run more rich without putting new jets in move the clip down, which raises the needle, to run leaner, mover the clip up to move the needle down, put it back with the clip turned the correct way and pu the cap on, but be sure to hook up the linkage to the slide, that is what you had to do on my grandpas moped i rebuilt ;)

i didnt touch it. i just took apart the bottom half and changed the main to a 110. by the way any of u guys who are afraid to rip apart ur bike. dont be. today was my first time rejetting and i got it right the first time, its easier than u think

yeah, im not afraid to do work on mine if i have to, actually i love working on anything of the sort, i am the only one i trust on my stuff, esspecially my truck:p

Me too! I vowed the last time I took a quad to a honda shop that I'd never do it again! My 01' never went back for even the check up. Those guys they hire won't touch my machine!:macho

you can keep the stock pilot. it wont make that big of a difference. if you got the kit you should put the new needle in. just unscrew the top of the carb and take out the clip then take the stock needle out. put the new one in on the 3rd slot from the top and you will be all set

do u guyz think a 110 is a litte big. it didnt seem to make that much of a difference is performance. is a 110 good enigh cus i really dont feel like going back into my carb. i did what big gun told me to do say idk./
