hey i am thinking about buying a new quad at the end of summer and selling my 250x. i wanted to know which company is easier to deal with (on warranty and other stuff)? did they fix the problems with the kfx (weak axel frame other brakable things)?
at my dealership the kfx is cheaper so i figured that i would go with the cheaper one b/c i am tight on money(i dont have any)
thanks for any info

the price at my dealership is kfx $4,899 and LTZ $4,999

save the $100, get the KFX. i bought my KFX in Oct 02 and haven't had any problems yet.

Axle was supposed to be addressed. I heard that the frame is addressed along with the swing arm in the next years models. I would definitely save the $100 and get the KFX

yeah i think the kfx would be a good bike plus i can save some money and have something that no one around me has. is there any other quads that might be good for woods riding and hitting a few jumps. i was thinking about the raptor but they have had a lot of problems and seem under powered for the size of the motor, the 400ex everyone has one now. how much do u think i could get for my 250x\/ mods are in my sig

The problems were adressed as far as the axle goes.
I know a few people with Kfx's and they have had no problems what so ever.
They seem like a good solid bike.
