Anyone know if they are letting ATVs run at the Twin Bay D14 harescramble this weekend near Traverse City?? I want to go, but one schedule says no ATVs & one says tentative. I emailed John Arens who is supposed to be the ATV chairman, but I haven't heard back from him or the D14 harescramble chairman who I emailed on Sunday. Thanks for any info!!

It is cancelled for quads. It looks like it would be a good place to race though.

Yeah, John A finally emailed me back & let me know, I guess I shoulda posted here. So instead, I had to pay for 3 day air on my TCS so I can go riding this weekend.:grr:

MJ,

You ride the D14 scrambles?

Yes, I ride most of them. I assume you are new to D14 HS? If you need info on them ---ask away!! I race some of the GNCC's also.

New? I am still a virgin... LOL. I guess I can think of a couple questions off the top of my head... How many competitors usually show up for the novice class and how many total & what class you racing?

Novice class gets about 5-8 most races and is a good place to start. If you haven't raced, go over you bike and make sure everything is tight. You have to have a tether cord also. If you show up to the track around 7:45 you then will have enough time to get signed up and get ready to go. There is always a practice lap at around 8:30-8:45 and the race usually starts around 9:00.
The D14 Website has some good info on it also.

I race either A or Vet at D14 Races.
