YFZ 450 in action

Here it is...the YFZ 450 at Glen Helen in California. I didn't know they were out yet...but one was racing there yesterday. Steve Abott said it ran pretty much as strong as his Moto. My friend was racing there and his wife snapped the pic......JIM

i had a friend with a built laeger 330r in the same class as that yfz450 and he said he had a tough time fighting it off. as soon as he got a little tired the thing blew by him. all it had engine wise was an aftermarket exhaust that yamaha sells for it :eek2:

jim do you have anymore pics of that race or where did you find them? i wanna find some of my friends racing there. i about went but my ride was sleeping!! :rolleyes:

yea i might be selling my 'shee and getting one at the end of july or sometime in august. the yamaha dealership close to me is getting their first shipment of yfz 450's july 1st. i wish they were cheaper than 6,899 though :(:(
