Okay this sounds stupid but I will throw it out My alpine star boots are scratching the plastic up from the rear part of the boot and the inside of the boot is scratching the black part of the plastic. It looks like you took sand paper and went to work. I was wondering if there is anything I could put on the boot . iJust throwing this question out.

2002 400 ex
w/b pipe and bumper
k&n jet kit
ac nerfs

zracer showed me what he uses.....

he takes the number plate overlays(which are clear) and trims them to fit the wear areas. works great and is fairly easy to do.

I have seen this and it works but it works best if you do it b4 you scratch the crap out of the fenders.

one secret to being a better rider is to stop worrying about the looks and just ride...even tho it is nice to look good

you can also use the carbon fiber look sticker stuff, looks good on red, yellow, blah blah

No, no, no,,,,just wrap the area of the boot that is scratching up your plastic with Duct Tape. :devil:

I bought pants that go over my boots (Shift), it helped alot.
