heres some pics... we are gonna start makin the mounts tonight to get it bolted in there. what did you guys do abotu the chain runnin along the swingarm but missing the chain slider?

nice...... did you paint your front wheels like that or are they powdercoated? if painted what did you use and how well does it hold up?

Looks good i hope u put some gussets on that frame and and mounted the motor with all its mounts:headstay,bottom mounts ect.. Is that the CFM tank,if so take ur old oil tank square peices that have the threads and weld them to where the CFM tank needs to be mounted

ya its not mounted in yet....did u take ur motor all the way to the left to where both the spockets were pretty much straight on?> cuz i cant take mine over that far and still have the kickstarter and the exhaust clear the frame . i have the houser kickstart extension and the tc full exhaust for a quad so i dont wanna do anything to those..

those look like tcs race seris shocks....

how does it ride?? once you start getting her wide open... ooo hang on becuase it rips your arm right off... have fun riding it

the shocks are works stadium series with rezzies. they are kinda liek zps. they work good, but i wanna get somethin better soon. maybe pep.

and i havent rode it yet, the motors not all mounted yet i just put the plastics on to take pics. i cant wait tho, hopefully it rips

yeah it should rip..my friends got a crf450 quad that i have been riding since mine has been apart so i've gotten used to that. i hope this compares to his

its not finished... but it needs 4 motor mounts welded, a few brackets welded to mount the radiator. thats all the welding it needs

the crf is a lot smother power band then the 426... the 426 almost rides like a 250r, but a llllloooootttt more torque... the DOHC and 5 valve on the 426 gives it a lot more snap, if you come out of a corner and punch it, it will pick and go you really don't have to wiat to let it build up.... if you are used to 250r and such you will like the 426...

i bought just teh motor, pipe, carb and electrics from a guy in texas. he had it in his quad but he sold it cuz hes gonna build a new one

I hate to burst your bubbles, but they sell these things whole now... no building required;) :D Sorry I hadda do it, lol.

Ya ur right but wrong. They sell the YZF450cc which produces 45hp they say its capible of. Well my yzf stock pushes 55 hp so im happier with that. The new YZF will be just liek the C-dale IMO

ya they did... it was detuned to a 439...

but my local dealer said they had it dynoed with pipe, jet kit etc... on it, and it produced 60 hp at the crank i believe so probably around 50 at the rear wheel.... that is a lot... but it is hard to tell if you is lieing or not

and the stroke and compression ratios are different too.... they changed it quite a bit
