Just wondering has anyone tried these?? I cant see the quad plowing through 8 or more inches of snow?? Wouldnt the swingarm and rear tires get all packed??

yeah I used my quad with realators on the back, works pretty good till I got into 4 + inches of snow..:ermm: But thats with my moose skid, I kept forgetting to remove it, I bet it would do too back,but the skid plate would always build up snow and end up stuck. I've heard wider a-arms help a lot.-darren

we found some old rims and welsed skis on them a few years ago and my friend had some short snomobile tracks and we deflated the tires on his blaster( the big ballon tires) and out the tracks over them then inflted the tire and the track would stay on til about 4th gear but we could get through A LOT of snow with that and it was fun as he//

there was a guy in dirtwheels with skis up front and tracks on the rear. it looked like it would get through any amount of snow.

i put skis on my wheeler its nothing great in powder but once you get a nice freeze and the top layer of snow hardens up nice they work great. BUt a good set of rear tires is a must
