Off topic, car audio troubles

I just purchased a ton of crap. I have three amps hooked up to a distribution block and I have to hook them up to a capacitor, do i hook my 4 guage wire coming out of the distribution block to the capacitor before it goes to the battery? Or am I looking at this wrong? I also have to run three sets of rca cables to my head unit, is there a splitter I can buy?

The 4-gauge wire should run off the battery, through a main-line fuse, through the capacitor and finally into the distribution block.

You can get a splitter for your rca's at best buy or circuit city but, alot of stereos any more come with 3 sets of outputs.
