400ex carb on 300ex..i cant get jets right

ok i got a 300ex wiht quite a bit of mods.cam valver ported and polished airfilter pre filter and i just got a 400ex carb wiht a knn jet kit in it and i can get it right its way to leane what jets shuld i try?????or what shuld i adjust i donno what jets are in it eather

I had mods close to yours and mine worked good with a 170 main jet.

take it out and clean it up real good while your looking to see what main jet is in there and where the needle position is etc.

Then post that info with why you think its lean and what its doing and you will get much better answers.

^^^ Do what he said. Oh, try and tune one circuit at a time...maybe less confusion that way.
