I want to get hiper beadlocks for my 400, has anyone had problems w/them? What size do you guys use for mx, and do I need new hubs or will the stock ones work?

I got the 8x8 dual beadlocks on the rear of my ex. They come with hubs installed...there are no lug nuts, just the axle nut. So far they have been awesome, no complaints whatsoever.

Best wheels I have ever ran! No more alum for me!

quadrcr87, how is taking off 1 nut harder than taking off 4 nuts?

well i guess its not harder but my axle nuts are a pain to take off with the cotter pin and everything

you need a cotter pin clip, comes right off no bending!

You can buy them at a hardware store. Its the same
thing that keeps your receiver hitch pin from coming out.

I am curious as to the weight savings of all 4 rims over Douglas Ultimates?

I believe the Hiper's were 2 pounds lighter each when I weighed them a year ago

best investment i ever made. and as for them leaking air. I dont know about that I have had my tires on mine for over 6 months now, and the PSI is still exactly what it was when I installed them. you must have had a bad bead on one of your tires or didnt tighten them enough or maybe you have a hole in your tire if they are leaking on you. The only problem I had with my hipers is that everyone wants them.. lmao

Those Hyper wheels look trick on the yellow Klotz quad! Personally, close to moving toward the fibers..advantage, weight savings, modular for ez replacement, strong, trick appearance...etc.

IMOA..The quadshop seems to have alot of experience with the hypers. Being somewhat of a new product, it may bay a good decision to work with them. Price would be certainly be fair.
