250r to 400ex chasis

has any one put a 250r engine into a 400ex chasis? is it possible? I have a 400ex chasis and I dont have the $$$$$ to buy a crf or yzf engine so I am now thinking of using a 250r engine.

I've seen one. the guy said it was pretty easy, don't know how he did it though.

anything is possible and i'm pretty sure it's been done, I've never done it but i'm sure it's not that complicated to do.

You could do anything you want but the 400 frame is probably stronger (not positive) but defintely a lighter material.

Yes it can be done, but im not sure how people do it though. I have seen a few of them at the dunes running around and they seem to work really well.

Service Honda sells 400EX, with a CR250R mototr all ready in them , withc is just about the same thing so yes it can be done for POSIIVE.
