I was actually just talking to some other racers at Brainerd last night about the last time I went to Jackpot Junction.

The purse for 1st place in Pro class was $750. So, we loaded up the motor home and the wheeler and drove the 4 hours down there. When we got there, they charged us $50 just to park inside of the pits to camp!!!!!!!!!! We paid our $50 and parked inside to find out that a bunch of the people beside us were staying up for an all night party. So, with $750 on the line we decided to drive to the closest hotel. We were only in the pits for about 45min and they wouldn't give us our money back when we left. Anyways, we drive back in the morning to practice and the track sucked!!! It was basically a flat track with some 4-5ft jumps that you just had to flat land off of onto what felt like concrete. After practice the promoter came over to us and said "We don't have enough money for the purse, but if you want to race for free you can"!!!! WTF?!?!?! So, we loaded up and went home.

I sure hope that they have it all figured out now..

i have raced at brainerd before and that track is so easy its not even fun.. race one of the motokazie raxes and you will have tons of fun! I raced in jordan on friday night and the track was hard but it was the most fun I have had and there were hot chicks every where that u looked! and motokazie doesnt even have a pro quad class so unless you race bike i dont see how you could be upset by that:ermm: anyways tho I hope there is a good quad turn out and hope to see u there

You're right, the Brainerd track is easy. The problem with it is it's just not technical enough. Kind of a "hit or miss" track. I would love to race the Jordan track but I don't have enough time to drive that far. From what I have heard, it's a KILLER track. Huge jumps and very technical. Maybe I can talk some of the guys here into loading up for a night and heading down there. Is there a website for any of these tracks?

Thanks,
John
