I HAVE A PINGRY ALUMINUM AIR BOX, BUT MY K&N FILTER IS RUBBING DOWN THE ALUMINUM, ITS STARTING TO WEAR THRU, WHAT SHOULD I DO, IVE ONLY HAD IT FOR ABT 2-3 MNTHS, LET ME KNOW

Modify it so it doesn't rub. Try bending the airbox slightly if it's aluminum. A couple taps might solve the problem.

You really don't want a hole in your airfilter.

This really annoys me! Having to look at threads that have long since died....what you gonna do, dig up your family members years after they are buried????:o :grr:
