well...i was thinking. i need new front shocks cuz i'm killing my stockers. and for some reason i looked at my kx..and noticed my rear shock is a little longer. has a rezzie. and looks alot better overall..so i was wondering if i got two rear dirtbike shocks of the same make and year. would this be a good setup? i think it would..and they look like it would bolt up perfect i'm gonna try it once i get my 300 done it looks like this at the moment.

i don't think it will work b/c of the mounts and stuff but worth a try.

I would imagine that the rear shock on a dirtbike is going to be much stiffer than the front on a quad, I have a feeling you are in for a rough ride...

you will def be in for a rough ride. i have my cr80 shock on the back of my quad and it is just as hard or a little softer than stock. but you can try it and tell us how it works

umm not saying it won't work but I highly doubt it will be worth the effort. Chances are they arn't the right length and are gonna be valved wrong and have the wrong springs. But who knows maybe i'm wrong.

i wouldn't waste my time... the money ur goin to spend u could buy works without ressies probably... and it would be so much better...

the shock wont' be valved for u... it won't be the right length... spring rates off... probably the wrong dimensions at the shock eyes...

yeah it bolted up...i would need 400 a-arms because its longer then the 300 shock...i dunno about all that stuff....oh well...maybe if i ever pick up two rear 80 shocks i can try it..heres a pic. i put the shock on facing the wrong way and you can't see the rezzie. it gos on the same way with the rezzie on the bottom and thats the only way it would bolt up too the quad. so i can't complain just wanted to try it out. i plan on getting 400 a-arms and 250r shocks. then some aftermarkets after that. thanks the for replies. :macho
