well i might be leaving the quad and dirtbike riding and racing world. ANd just do nothing. life has been so ****ty lately my dad dont even want me gettn a quad and everything bad is happinging so i think im just gonna ****ing quit. unless my dad is gonna get me a quad and quit ignoring me i got the money but have 2 have his approvel on everything i buy and he ignores me when i ask him. So i got mad and told everyone 2day i quit riding s0o if i dont get a quad pretty soon i guees i will be sayin laidher to the quad sceen.

I personally think you should reconsider. Lifes a ***** and is has it's ups and downs, but still, you should never quit:scary: NEVER!

Well I kinda know what you mean. I thought awhile ago to give it up. I felt really chitty, not having any good hobbies. I tried to get myself into other things........ Never worked out.

In the end, I went back to quads, and love every minute of it.

same here... when i would break **** then my dad would get pissed i felt like "screw it" its not worth it. in this sport it seems like either you or on top or on the very bottom.. for me at least. then a couple weeks ago i screwed up my shock and i dont have money to fix it... but somehow it fixed itself:huh then i was out riding having a great time again....

Actually he said he has the money, but has to have his dad's approval. I can understand that because my dad is like that too. If he's under 18 his dad would have to put the quad under his name and if he doesn't want him to have one he would just have to say he's not getting it.

I one time thought about getting out of quads and sold my '99 400ex in the fall. By spring I had to have another so I bought a '01 400ex. A year later I had the ex and a new z. Now I just have the z. My point is I think those of us who are really into quads will always have one. It may not always be a sport, it could be a utility, but those who leave usaully come back.

I like both bikes and quads, if he's buying you a bike, you'll still have the money you saved to buy a quad later on. I jump back and forth between machines. Some riding area's will allow you to go faster on the bike and vice versa. If you can't get a quad, give bikes a chance too.:confused:

Im know im asking for it for even posting on the subject...

Personally, I know the feeling of being at the bottom. I have given up the sport and am dumping my money in my truck. I just dont have the time to sit around for 1-2 years earnin money for a new quad. I dont really want a bike either...I would love to get my hands on anything above 400ccs, but I just dont have the patience to work forever to get one, b/c by the time I did I would be in college and have little to no time anyways.

Dont worry, I plan on getting back into in about 8 years after I am out of college and settled down...thats assuming they arent banned by then. :grr:

Thats life though, you live you learn and its a ***** to ya as much as it can be. Trust me, ive been through it all this week...especially yesterday. I almost tore myself apart mentally yesterday but thats another story. :ermm:
