I'm interested in what your local race tracks are paying the winners of the classes. Around here the tracks only pay maybe $50 to the winner of the quad money class, open money class, and 250 A money class. What kind of payouts are you seeing on a regular basis?

none, really though, if you take money doesnt it disqualify you from racing amatuer at the nationals....you have to race pro or pro am if you get caught *i think*

Oh yeah and 50 bucks? That would atleast cover the fees to get in ,maybe.

With dirtbikes thats the case, but not really with quads from what I've seen.

In fact, to race "Pro" in GNCC, you have to prove yourself worthy.

As far as paybacks go - it is purely dependant on participation. Many tracks and/or promoters offer a 100% payback program for the expert classes. I've won anything from $10 to over $400 in a single event at local and state level XC, flat track, and endurance events.

Most are 100% PAYBACK and some even offer 125% so you do actually make a little cash..:ermm:

The tracks here pay OK, usually 125% or more. we have alot of local business' that throw down some extra cash to the A class and vet class winners. Jack Frost this sunday always pays for the overall winner and they use a time deduction so that it shows an overall winner. There payout is a bonus over the usual D6 payout. Last year they paid $200 to the overall winner on top of the usual payout. You know, this is one reason i tend to focus more on the local races than the GNCC's, i can break even at the D6's i go broke for wood at the GNCC's....

Locally there is only one track in Tulsa and they only pay 80%. There are other tracks around that pay from 100% up to 200% at some others in the area.

Around here some tracks pay and some dont, for the Quad "A" class. ANY TRACK RUN BY RACER PRODUCTIONS DOES NOT PAY! I got 2nd last weekend and got a whoop-dee-do plaque w/ an f-in dirt bike on it! And at High Point, my friend won and didnt get sh-t.

At our local supercross races in Brainerd, the PRO class pays out 150% with 50% going towards the year end. Last night there were only 5 of us and I was paid $90 for first.

At another local race (Little Falls) they have a 200% payout. Last time I won there, I was paid $225.
