i should get my PRM bottom frame plate today and i have heard of people putting some type of rubber or something in between the skidplate and the frame, should i do this, and if so what kind of material is it?

i just figured as long as it is tight it will be fine but this is not a bad idea

definitly use something because it will rub the paint right off the frame i have a black frame so i took some black ship gaurd paint and sprayed my entire top of the skid with it and the bottom of the frame and it seems to be protecting it pretty good and isnt really that obvious that i used something else to paint the bottom of my frame

mine Vibrates like MAD under throttle

I am gonna slap some Heater hole on specific Frame rails and crank it back on

super annoying

(yes I tightened the clamps down but it still vibrates)

i went to a pet store that sold stuff to do fish ponds and found this huge role of foam and i asked them if they could cut me off a piece i payed 2 bucks for enough to to the whole under side of my quad and then some! take and cut it to the outside of your frame rails and then put your skid on and it smashes the foam inbetween the rails and the skid. it also covers the whole skid so mud and other things cant get stuck under it. it works great! you should try it!
