I have Holeshot MX in the front and they are Obviously.... well...Round;)

What would be a good replacement for the fronts in a flatter tire

Should I stick with the rounder tire or will the flatter tire help me bite into the corners a little bit better from having more surface area on the ground??

I Run ALL terrain

Thanks

I love my Holeshot MX fronts, they are the best front tire I have found. A rounder tire will corner better and track straighter.

You could get some Bandits in front, but they are perfectly square and in my opinion are the worst front tire I have ever ridden on. They dart all over the place, corner like sh*t, and the braking is terrible. One good thing is that you can run them with no air in them and won't notice it because they are so hard, and they will last forever.

If you want a different front tire and don't like the Holeshots, give the Kenda Klaws a try. I think you would be a lot happier with a more round-profiled tire. :)

You might like these if you don't like the Holeshots. They are also a very good front tire, at a pretty affordable price.

Supposedly a flat tire will handle very loosely at high speeds (i.e. squirly). Besides that it takes alot more effort to turn the handle bars. I would stick with a more rounded profile tire, if I were you. But, if you are shure you want to try out a flatter front, the Titan fast trecker front is a flat profile all terrain tire.

I have c'828's & they are a completely flat tire & they suck big time....its really hard to turn around coreners, they dont bite wwl,, they handle bad (squirly)...I got them b/c my friend who has a recon had some & they took 2 years to wear down & we ride on the road alot. do not get flat tires on a sport unless you are always on the road.

Fast Trekker fronts are really flat.
A rounded tire is a better way to go , believe me.
Get kenda Klaws.

A flatter profile tire gives a very chittin ride compared to a rounded. On a smooth track you'll be fine but get to a rough area and the handling goes down the toilet. The kenda tire pictured above is what i run on MX tracks and it's the best handling tire there is. You wanted more bite,,well the kenda will solve the problem,,garaunteed..
