Hello.... My Dad and I were outside trying to take off the spark plug on my 01' 400ex... Is there a special type of plug wrench needed? And if not, how in the hell is someone supposed to take that S.O.B off!!!????!!!????!!! lol:D

Uh, well, I bought my 400 used, so you know how that goes... Am I getting on your nerves by asking so many questions about my 400 pappy? If so, I am sory, I just want my quad back on the road.

lol..no way dude:p i always check the obvious first:D

the plug tool is a 2 piece unit...i havent had any luck finding one that works as good as the stock piece....the local honda dealer should have one ....if not take an old plug and head to the parts store....

OK then!!! Thank God my dad was having to make a trip over there anyway! It is a 4 hour drive to our local honda shop... We live way up in the mountians!

Well, no matter what, my dad still has to make the trip over there... Besides, he has already left! LMFAO! Oh well, it is just time I guess, I hat living so far up in the mountians, but I have 3 trail heads within 2 min. of me!:D

Anyway, I use Crafstman 3/8 drive 18mm deepwell sockect with the short extention with no problem. I still don't see why so many people have problems removing the plug:confused:
The only trick is to put the socket on the plug then the extention then the ratchet....
