My 350x engine kept backfiring back up through the carb yesterday. It hasnt done it before, so why was it doing it yesterday. What causes this.

Also, after it would backfire, when I would try to kick it over, it would be harder to kick down and the kickstarter would then kick back pretty hard.

Could also be ur carb is dirty or bad gas

But Ive rode it around the yard and it seem to work good. Could the timing get off just by kickstarting it. I will clean my carb out today.

maybe a stretched timing chain :confused:
You might have broken the timming key. Which makes your ignition timming go all outta wack.

How do I check to see if it is that. Cant you get a sparks advanced timing key.
