I bent my handlebars. I was wondering what was the best bar. All i hear about is Renthal or Tags. I was thinking either Tag T-5's or standard Renthals. ANy suggestions.

ranthal race bend, very strong, light and feel good. flipped my quad last year on a double, and landed right on my ranthals. renthals didn't even get a scratch, but i bent my stem and my twist throtle turned to dust.
renthals all the way!!!
have a look

I prefer Renthals I've only broke one pair in 5+ years racing/riding and my scooter has had plenty of upside down time:rolleyes:I use the Banshee bend but the race bend is ok.
my fly handlebars work great too....they are very cheap & maybe not the best but I've flipped it twice now & they haven't bent.

I'm running Tag T-2's.
what kinda mounting kit do u have to have? can it be any ex. pro taper? that mounts the oversized bars. Because i like the tag's but i wanna buy a trail tech mounting kit cuz they're cheap and reloacte the key and neutral light.

My 250ex has Tag X-5 Travis Spader Bend bars, and I love them.... they are a lil shorter then stock and straighter, and you hafta stretch your arms a bit more, and they are lower but they feel great once you get used to them.
I just cut my plastic where my neutral lights and reverse are so the crossbar pad would fit and I wouldnt have to mess with the wires and with drilling holes in the side of my quad for the ignition.

Where are you going to get this? The only trail tech kits that I know of that relocate the lights and key are the Z400 ones. The 400EX ones don't have the key/light option... at least that was my understanding. I hope I'm wrong, though, because I want the same thing!

a few hard landings on a set of renthals will bend them REAL bad. i went through about 3 sets last season on my old EX and i decided it was time for new ones. i now run tag T2's on my new ex and my R. i will never use anything else. the X5's are built to fit the standard clamps. if you dont wanna spend the $$$ on a new mount kit, go for the X5's
kepp the rubber side down

Any type of bars will fit any quad with a lil prying here and there..... its just if you order CR High vs. Quad bend..... there is a difference but all bars will fit.
My Travis Spaders(X-5) are almost the exact CR High bend. And they are lower then stock but feel great.

When i get my a arms and new stem I will run the Tag T2's. I have heard nothing bad about them. I want the height of the grips to be the same as stock but without the chopper handlebars that stock quads have. So I think when I get the new stem it will be a +1 and the if i get the CR Low bend it should be about where the stock bars sit....without the huge bars.
