does anyone know of a hood scoop that will fit onto fullbore plastics?

The Quad Tech carbon fiber Naca hood will work for fullbore.. just specify you want it for fullbore when ordering... look at the KandK adds they have pics of it

yeah the R hood is harder to put on a 400!!!

i want to baldwin today and after talking to him about it a little he told me just to go with the 400 hood b/c its so much easier to get on!!! so i bought this one from him instead!!! it will look sweet!!!

i havent mounted it on my quad yet b/c i am waiting for my new plastic to come in!!

isn't that the naca duct hood? does it have a grill in it??? i have always wondered how that hood will look on a 400? is there a difference between the 250r and the 400ex hood besides installation?

Here's another...

Quad Tech does not make a grill for the NACA Duct hood and may never. Still looks good without it.

The two hoods are different...

I bought it directly from Quad Tech and asked about the availability of a grill for it. They said it did not have one and they were unsure if they would ever make one.

Who knows...I bought it approx. 3 months ago, things may have changed??

never had tamers. but the klaws are awesome i got a set on my z400 and it totally eliminated the wheel spin

Did anyone route the air through the scoop to the oil cooler or the snorkle? Seemed like one of these may work out nicely.

Also, how durable are the scoops/ carbon fiber to a roll over? $200 is alot to wipe out in a minor roll over.:ermm:

it's a 400ex it's a little wider than a 250r one, they both will work around $200
