IDS2 Exhuast for 300ex.... headpipe question

I'm gettin the IDS2 silencer to replace my fmf megamax which is worn out... the IDS2 will fit onto the stock head pipe but i have the FMF head pipe which is longer... so im thinkin the IDS2 wont fit onto my fmf head pipe?? However, to hook to the stock pipe, the IDS2 has a "intermediate" pipe that connects it to the stock pipe, so MAYBE mine will fit right onto the silencer without the intermediate pipe?? Just wondering if any of u guys have done this... worth a try

nah dont know about that..i say go get ya a full exhaust..and not a fmf

Why don't you just use what is sent when you purchase the IDS2?? It comes complete as a full exhaust. The headpipe is larger diameter than stock, I don't know how it compares to an FMF headpipe though......:confused:

sorry... i was under the impression it only came with the "intermediate pipe" to connect it to the stock head pipe... but guess i need to look into it more... thanks
