I got a 2002 300EX with a E-series pro-meg, jetting, K&N power kit. What tires would be better for general purpose and would be able to withstand some road-riding with-out go'in bald.

Also what size would be good to run with nerfs, that i won't lose any power, and i won't lose to much ground clerance

i would recomend a set of holeshots. Maybe XC's. The problem with the two you suggested are that razors dont last long (soft compound) and that turf tamers are mx tires. The tread is too close together for any mud. I would go for 20-11-9 size. Because they are shorter than stock, you will gain in low end, but loose a little on top. Bigger tires weigh more.

But i thought holeshots were 4-ply for long lasting

theyare 4 ply and 6 ply in the xc's. They do last long...I guess i don't understand your post. Just go with the holeshots.
