Idle ?

So when I cold start it I ussualy raise the idle a hair so it will idle well .....then after I ride for a bit OBVIOUSLY I have to lower it again

If I don't raise it a hair when it's cold it won't really idle for chit till it's warmed up for a while (it will idle then die....then idle ...then die..unless I give it some gas)

Quad runs fine overall

Is your bike all stock? If so, try going to a 40 pilot. It sounds like it's running a little lean when cold, a larger pilot should solve the problem.

airbox chit,uni,WB slip-on,160 MJ & 40Pilot (sea level) , 94 octane

Runs like a raped ape ..just idles like crap when cold

Yeah, mine doesn't like to idle cold, either. Honda should have put a cam on the choke mechanism to raise the idle.
