ok i just orderd my sparks x-6 today and will b installing that and changing my plug this weekend :)

im running the stock one right now and wanted to know what i should change too. the motor will b stock other then pipe, filter, re-jet, and modded lid. i hear good things about NGK. what do u guys reccomend? thanks

damn! shows u what i know hahaha. well im going to go to my local dealer and pick up some new jets and a plug :)

im hoping the x-6 isnt to loud hehe...anybody know about how man decibels?

i am not sure how many decibals but i know its pretty loud........:devil:

It seems like one of the mags said that it was 104 db.

HOLY s%$*!!!!! thats loud as F*#K!!!! here in cali we have a 94 db limit at the parks. not like i planned to make that but if its over 100 thats just crazy hahaha. loud pipes save lives right? right?! haha

The stock plug is NGK.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the stock plug is a Denso.

yeah i just bought 3 from my local dealer and it says NGK on the plug :) thanks again

NGK dpr8z is the factory plug. the drp9z is the colder version and the drp7z is the hotter version.

I dunno why, but my 400 had a denso in it from the factory. That's wierd.

now that i think about it, you may be right. check out the owners manual and i think there was two different plugs that are possible to come from the factory. i am not 100% sure but i do remember seeing something different somewhere.

I just pulled my plug out to check to make sure i had a denso and I do have one in there. It is a X24GRR-U

I checked both manuals..they list both plugs..the NGK and the Denso.
