oil drain plug

On my 300ex the oil drain plug has stripped and am not sure of the easiest repair i was thinking helicoil. Maybe going to a larger fastener but I don't want to split the case again its a fairly new motor and am worried about metal particals from drilling and tapping.

Maybe get some vice grips to pull it off, than get a new plug from your honda dealer?

Have you stripped the hex head off the drain plug, or stripped the threads out of the drain plug hole..?
