Everytime that somebody sends me an email with an attachment, I get this message.
"OE removed access to the following unsafe atachments in your mail:..."
It doesn't matter who it is from, it says that message, even if I send an attachment to myself.

I don't have OE in front of me, but you will have to go in tools, then options and set it NOT to scan attachments....I'll be able to help more later on when i get home.....:o

I am guessing you are running Internet explorer 6? (it comes with Windows XP by default)

If so, to turn off the "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" option:

1. Start Outlook Express.
2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
3. Click the Security tab, click to clear the Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus check box under Virus Protection, and then click OK.

This could be different if you have an older version Outlook Express. Hope this helps.
