i ride with a couple friends that have 400ex's and i am getting beat!!!!!! i have shaved fenders, k&n filter, drilled airbox with the snorkle removed, and a white brothers e-series slip on pipe. one kid who has a completely stock 400ex besides shaved fenders can pass me top end pretty easily, and another kid i ride with has shaved fenders and a uni filter and his goes right next to mine. i think mine creeps alittle on him but it takes like a mile for me to start to pull away................i can't understand why i am getting beat?!?!? i spend 200 on th eslip on 40 for the filter and it doesnt help me at all. the only thing i can think of is that the guy who owned my 400ex before me put a mikuni 160 main jet in it not a keihin like there should be. you think this could affect my power output??? well regardless i am going to the honda shop tomorrow to pick up a 155 keihin jet and see what that will do... maybe it iwll help me alittle................any input would help
