I'm pretty sure they revalve it too.:( Personally i'd just go with the new rear I hated the performace and reliability of mine. Not to mention having to send my shock back and fourth being quadless.

The rear rebuild kit is $200. or like $213. It comes with springs, the replacement valves and some more. I'm sure you could run just the springs, but its prob not a good idea.

you could always ask elka directly 450 655 4855. ask for yahn and then ask him anything you want. tell him carl C sent you.

Probaly, JK Forum. It would probaly ride werid without the revalve and new springs, just go the safe root.

I was going to have CD Racing do mine, until I decided to go the cheap route and get Works up front instead of Elkas. I think it was $300+, call them and find out. I had my rear rebuilt at a local shop with the RaceTec Gold Valve, stock spring, the difference was huge. I'd think you'd WANT to get it revalved. The new springs are better, but the valving really makes the shock perform better.

The shock needs to be revalved to work correctly with the SSD setup.

if your talking to me and your talking about the fronts i already have elka triples with rezzies and i want to get the rear shock to match so it rides right. ok so i guess ill just wait awhile. i have to save up some money. thanks.

oooh quader...i didnt know, yah...ur prob. gonna want to do something with that back shock until you get a new one so I suggest yuou did like I did yesterday & loosen it up all the way, it makes a difference & its alot softer but it may bottom out over large jumps.

I spent 350 and sent mine to TCS. They revalved it and put a spring on it in accordnce to my weight. I love it and it works awesome.

Formerly I was to understand that Axis was not a participant in the rebuilding of stock rear suspension. However last week I discussed purchasing Axis shocks off a racers Roll XC +1 setup from a shop who then offered to re-valve and re-spring my rear shock with Axis components for $150.00. I was until this time unaware this was an option  ???
