Please let me know If I am doing the right thing I like the way the power band is nice and smooth, I would just like to gain a little more torquethroughout all the gears, If I put a high compression piston in would this work with the stock cam and achive the results in gaining more torque???????

well, stock headers produce more torque than aftermarket headers, and i am not sure of your mods, so a good pipe, airfilter, higher comp piston and cam should do you good, maybe a slight bore to

well right now my current mods are uni air filter and a yoshi slip on
would a high cop piston be good enough with the stock cam ?

An 11:1 stock bore piston would give you a nice boost, but a low end cam will compliment the piston very nicely. You can just do the piston now and add the cam later if you wish. You will be satisfied either way, just moreso once you add the cam.

get a whole hi compresion engien kit with sleeve and cam from lrd for 485

If i were you i would make sure evyething is jetted right and upgrade suspension beofre engine mods.

will it be some what be noticable with a high comp piston only,and what is actualy the stock 400ex cam, an all around cam,bottom to mid cam or top cam and why do others work better.Sorry for all the dumb questions, I just making sure if the high comp pistion will be noticiable for know ue to money resctrictions.
