I just put on a new white bro e series full exaust but no guard came with it, the stock pipe had it welded on, kinda suprised it didn't come with it. Already burnt a small hole in my pants.

Try buying some header tape from an automotive parts store. I wrapped mine from the engine to where the silencer attaches. It helps cut the heat and it looks cool too:cool:

Wait till ya mud and water on it. I tried wrapping my Dmc with that stuff but i would rub it off in one spot in about 20 minutes or so.

I cut the mounts off the stock header and hand them welded to my WB header. I was sick of burning my 150 riding pants:rolleyes:

Just pick up a stock shield and a couple of nuts from Home Depot head on down to the local welding shop and they'll tack them on (mine actually did it on the spot for free!). I do, however, think WB should have tacked the nuts on for it's customers so we could use the stock shield, I ruined a $200 pair of Gortex pants riding in the snow :grr: Of course I guess we only pay $500.00 bucks for the pipe and silencer geeesh!
