Carb air boot problems

I've been having problems with my air boot staying on carb. The air boot is too short and even when I use grip glue to secure it to the carb it can still come off (not often but it happens). I've heard the 02 airboots are longer then the previous years, is this true?

I haven't heard anything about the boot size change....Anybody else?
I have a '01 with no problems...

i was told that one of the boots did change a bit due to the fact that some were ripping or not staying together. i don't know if this is true or not. i also have a 2001 without any problems.
