Hi guys,

Well, I am building my 416 right now and want to be sure nothing gets past my K&N w/ outerwear.

I bought a new airbox lid and a sheet of UNI foam. I want to make something to hold the foam onto the lid, but not sure how to attach it. I'd like to make a 6x8 inch hole....or something close. Any ideas?

Here is my other choice....don't laugh.:eek2:

Take a leg off a set of old panty hose and put it over the filter, and then put my outerwear on?? Pantyhose has a real tight knit, so I thought it may work.

my cousin used pantyhose on his racing go kart, but just because he was too cheap to buy a outerwear

Well EHS may take this as a compliment (hopefully) but he has a very good idea in his "lamination" of 2 peices of aluminum used to "sandwich" the outerwear fabric..If you have access to some decent cutting tools it's possible to rig it or perhaps buy the one from him and subsititute uni-foam for the fabric.
