i had a little trouble with this pipe, so i decided to make a guide for anyone else who is going to buy this awesome pipe,

note: when installing use rubber glowes so you dont get finger prints on it, there extremely hard to get off later

this pipe gives major power gains in top mid and low end it hits the most in mid range tho,

it came chrome but i had to powersand off the plastic and the brake fluid that leaked onto my pipe, dont let this happen to you

on another note, to jet this i used a 128 main jet, it worked for me but follow your elevation and climate or any other determining factors

as i said i highly recommend this pipe, but just do thes 10 minute modifications and you will be able to experiance the power of the sparks x-4

1)

this is a picture of my brake rezzie on the other side of the frame, it is this way because it rubs ageanst the pipe, and the pipe gets very very very hot.

just do this by going to your local hardwear store and buying a hose clamp to fasten the rezzie to the frame

NOTE:do this after you take off the stock pipe not after youve put the sparks on.

2)

This is a picture where ive cut the plastic to stay away from the pipe, yellow melted plastic does not look good on your new chrome pipe, if you look closer there is a area on the pipe where it looks dull, hense the sanding , there are 2 pictures of this

3) rear fender, do the same as the front and cut fo fit an area of about an inch around the pipe

You should call Sparks and inform them of this problem.
