If anybody has put a 250r motor in a 400ex frame or has pics of one please post them. I just bought a 400ex frame and am thinking of putting an r motor in it. Thanks.

does anyone know if its possible to put a 400ex in a 250r or is the engine to tall?

IF YOU HAVENT PUT A MOTOR ON YOUR FRAME YET. I WOULD RECOMMEND USING A 250 OUT OF A BIKE. A CR250 MOTOR WILL THROW YOU AROUND MUCH BETTER THEN A 250R MOTOR. THE POWER VALVE TECHNOLIGY IN THE NEW MOTORS PUT OUT MUCH MORE POWER AND MUCH BETTER THROTTLE RESPONCE. NOT TO MENTION HOW MUCH CHEAPER AND EASIER IT IS TO BUY THE MOTOR AND PARTS. SOME PEOPLE WOULD DISAGREE BUT IVE HAD 3 250RS AND HAVE DONE THIS AT LEAST 10 TIMES. TO DIFFERENT QUAD FRAMES. THE ONLY HASTLE IS COMING UP WITH CUSTOM MOTOR MOUNTS.

thats a service honda 250R right? some guy on here has a sick 400Ex with a 250R engine in it!:D

That would be mine. If you go to SC this weekend you can check it out, possible even take a spin. That one in the picture above is in my garage now for practice bike.
