I was wondering what your opinions were on what I should save for next. It is between a Houser steering stem or brake lines. I am racing mx. Which would make the biggest difference for that type of racing? And which would be more beneficial? My brakes still seem good and my stem isn't bad it is just slightly bent making the handlebars a hair uneven. thanks for your thoughts and suggestions.

I'd get the lines.

Between those 2 things get the Brake Lines front and rear. For the front you also need to get 2 sets of the ATV Fourplay clamps to hold the brake lines. Call C&D for all that stuff. You should really save for a Shock Rebuild first...

I say get a stem..... Those stock lines will do. till you can get the money saved up again. who knows when your going to wreck again and you will need a new stem cause the stock one will look like a pretzel. Get a houser stem so you wont worrying about your stock one. Also screw thos fancy holders what a waste of doh.

get the brake lines. Riding with a slightly bent stem won't hurt you that bad. For a while I was riding on some many bent and broken parts it wasn't even funny. I still am riding on a bent stem but we're just gonna straiten it and reinforce it probably.

Thanks for all the replys. It sounds like brake lines are the way to go. (Even though I'd rather have a new steering stem:rolleyes: haha) I want what will give me the most benefit for racing though. I'm not worried about saving for the rear shock rebuild Dave (hoping dad takes care of that). And there is no way I'm spending that much for brake line clamps, I'd just use zip-ties. (Dave you know that haha)

While your Dad's paying for the Rebuild, try to convince him you need a new swingarm to make it work right. lol j/k.
