sony cybershot

today i bought a sony cybershot and its an awesome camera, but i was wondering why when i take pictures it always makes them over 500 kb (500000 bytes) and the limit on here is around 100000 bytes so it wont let me post any photos online and i dont have any resizing program, i was wondering if anyone has(had) this camera and if they could tell me how to fix my problem

Go into your paint program, open up the file, go to "Image" on the tool bar, then "Stretch/Skew" and make the numbers smaller. It makes the photo smaller and takes up less Kb.

Or, if it's a halfway decent camera, you should be able to adjust the quality on the camera itself.
