I am ordering a new PRM bottom frame plate for my 300ex tonight.
what is the difference between the .125 and .190, my guess is it is thicker but i don't know, but i do know that the .190 is $25 bucks more.
if it is thickness, then i think i will go with the .125 for $ savings and wieght since i don't plan on beating it up too much

Scott, it sounds like you have pretty much answered your own question already. Obviously one is thicker than the other, which means that it might weigh a fraction more (if that's an issue), but also hold up to a little more abuse than the thinner one. When I bought my skid plate from PRM last year, they didn't have a choice of thicknesses, so I really can't tell you what mine is. What I can tell you though, is that out on the trails, I have run over a few things that I thought would punish the plate, but it has taken everything I've thrown at it.
